Let me be entirely honest with you, chances are you already have more experience in online gambling than I do. I've spent most of my gambling life walking the boardwalk in Atlantic City, playing blackjack between shows in Vegas, and when necessary, finding the nearest riverboat to fulfill my needs.
This however, was my first excursion to an "online" casino. Calling me a skeptic would be like calling Michael Jordan a ball player. I was a skeptic among skeptics. And when I literally walked into the Omni Casino, I wondered why I had never been here before.
After downloading the Omni Casino software, I found myself standing in a group outside a neon lit casino. I could hear the music playing inside. (The effects here are stunning.) It wasn't long before I could go anywhere simply by dragging my mouse.
After a quick stop at the cashier I was off to the card room and a game of blackjack. Imagine this, the dealer welcomed me to the table and asked me to place my bet. I made the appropriate clicks and dropped four five dollar chips into the betting circle. Within a few seconds I had one my first online bet. I was $20 up. But here is the best part...
I instantly received a message saying congratulations. Unlike other online casinos, the games at Omni are multiplayer games. Not only that, but you can chat with the other players at your table. I was blown away. To me that was one of the collest features Omni had to offer.
After a couple hands I told everyone at the table goodbye and moved to the craps table, my favorite game.
Amazingly, I found every other game in the Omni Casino to be just as great as my first experience with blackjack. It was an A+ experience all around.
One thing I did notice eith online gambling is this...
The game play is much quicker than in a land based, brick and mortar casino. While in a land based casino you can play maybe 35-45 hands of blackjack in an hour, online you can reach nearly 100. So an important thing to remember for you first timers, when gambling online you can win or lose your money twice as quick as you might be used to.
Luckily for me, my first trip to the Omni was a successful one. I finished after a few hours of gaming up nearly $200. I dragged my mouse to the cashier and requested my money. It was only a few days later that I got a check in the mail.
My trip to the Omni Casino was a fantastic experience. I'm not sure we could have found a better site for our first review.Share on:
